E-waste Disposal

Better Earth India Charitable Trust (BEICT) Project Image

E-waste, or electronic waste, refers to any waste that is part of electronic items, such as batteries, cell phones, laptops, and even earphones. These items often contain lithium-ion batteries, which can be harmful to the environment when disposed of carelessly.

Our organization is committed to reducing the impact of e-waste by promoting safe disposal practices. In 2021, we took several measures to address this issue. We installed dustbins in a few buildings where people can dispose of their e-waste. When these dustbins are full, we ensure that they are given to a scrap recycler who safely disposes of the waste.

We believe that small actions can make a big difference, and we are committed to making a positive impact on the environment. By promoting safe disposal practices, we hope to reduce the amount of e-waste that ends up in landfills and protect the health of our planet.
