This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets forth the terms and conditions governing the collection, use, processing, storage, disclosure, and protection of personal information by Better Earth India Charitable Trust (“Trust”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), a charitable trust registered under the laws of India, in relation to its website hosted on Wix, data collected through Google Forms, third-party payment processors, and any other external links or services accessed through the Trust’s digital platforms.

By accessing the Trust’s website, submitting information, making donations, volunteering (including as a minor with parental consent), or otherwise engaging with the Trust’s digital or offline activities, you (“User”, “you”) expressly consent to the terms of this Policy.

  • All visitors to the Trust’s website hosted on Wix.

  • Individuals submitting personal data via Google Forms, including volunteers under the age of 18.

  • Donation-related information, including transaction details, payment confirmations, and associated donor records. Sensitive financial information is processed exclusively by third-party payment providers, not the Trust.

  • Communications, queries, or submissions via Google Forms, contact pages, or email.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, referring URLs, and access times.

  • Usage data via cookies and analytics tools provided by Wix or integrated third-party services.

2.3 Information Obtained from Third Parties

  • Information processed and shared by Google (Forms, Gmail, Workspace) and by payment processors in relation to donations.

 

3. Processing and Use of Information

The Trust may process User data for the following purposes:

  1. Administration and acknowledgement of donations.

  2. Coordination and communication with volunteers and participants, including minors with verified parental/guardian consent.

  3. Compliance with legal, financial, and regulatory obligations.

  4. Security, auditing, and fraud-prevention purposes.

  6. Maintenance, improvement, and lawful operation of the Trust’s website and digital systems.

  • Volunteers below the age of 18 must obtain the verifiable consent of a parent or legal guardian before submitting any personal information or participating in Trust activities.

  • To Wix, Google, and payment processors for the limited purpose of enabling website hosting, form submissions, and donation processing.

  • To parents/guardians of minors where necessary for compliance or safeguarding.

  • To third parties, only with the User’s or guardian’s explicit consent.
